Position:                QUALITY INSPECTOR
Category:                QUALITY CONTROL
Rate of Pay:           $21-23 PER HOUR; Mileage of .59/per mile. Hourly rate includes travel time.

Payroll:                    Paid directly to Venmo or Cashapp; mileage reimbursement must be submitted by invoice to the client.
Type:                      1099
Days and Shift:      Typical during the week, flexible, business hours.

Schedule:                Schedule is driven by the needs of the customer
Timekeeping         Mobile  APP
Background:          TBD
Uniform/PPE:        Khakis or nice jeans, polo or button down, steel-toe boots or shoe covers
Other:                      Vehicle, smart phone
Process:                  Recruiter will identify the candidate and obtain the resume, proof of valid  driver’s license, and verbal ability to commute by own vehicle to the inspection sites. They will be submitted to the Client, AQS, for interview (candidates should be fully vetted and ready to be hired.)

Summary:               Perform a variety of food/product quality control functions in a factory setting. This is an on-call/at-will position where the associate will attend inspections at different factories in the specified state- in this case, New Jersey. The candidate will train with AQS Operations for the mobile app (paid training- about 1 hour.)  Each inspection will run from 8-12 hours depending on the product and quantity,

Responsibilities:
Confirm Company Inspection schedules in the mobile app.
Perform on-site sampling inspections at different locations through the metropolitan area (on the scheduled inspection date)
Record inspection details in the company app
Provide feedback on inspection results.
Qualifications
Able to read engineering drawings and diagrams.
Attention to detail and accurate reporting ability.
Professional appearance and great communication skills (Written and Verbal.)
Able to use basic measuring equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Scales, etc.)
Must own a vehicle and have valid DL; need smart phone for the mobile app.
Self Motivator
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

High School diploma/GED or demonstrated equivalent experience preferred.
Outstanding manual skills.
Ability to communicate using a variety of methods including pagers, overhead speakers, telephones, cell phones, etc.
Ability to learn and perform a variety of tasks
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance.
